President's Message
Dear Members, Patrons, and Friends,
As the vibrant festivities of Durga Puja conclude and we celebrate the joyous occasion of
Bijoya Dashami, I want to express my profound appreciation and gratitude to each one of
you for making this year's celebration such an extraordinary success.
Our puja mandap was not just a place of worship but a true spectacle of unity, diversity,
and inclusiveness. We were honored to welcome over 5,000 visitors who came to offer
their respect at the mandap. The participation in our community meals was truly
heartwarming, with more than 4,000 people enjoying lunch and dinner throughout the puja,
reinforcing our spirit of togetherness.
The global reach of our celebration was inspiring, as we hosted guests from over 10
different countries, a testament to our association's growing international presence and
appeal. Even more remarkable was the demonstration of communal harmony, with
attendees from more than seven different religious beliefs joining us to experience and
appreciate the essence of our Durga Ma.
This remarkable atmosphere of unity and diversity is a direct reflection of the tireless
efforts of our dedicated members. I wish to extend my sincere credit to them for their
invaluable contributions.
Cultural Functions & Souvenir
The spectacular cultural programs were a resounding success, bringing joy to all who
attended. Our souvenir and the uniquely designed bookmarks were also a great hit,
capturing the spirit of the festivities.
Volunteers & Puja Arrangements
Our volunteers worked diligently around the clock, ensuring the timely and smooth
arrangements for daily pujas and offerings, maintaining the sanctity and spiritual
atmosphere.
Front Desk & Hospitality
The successful functioning of our front desk provided a warm and organized welcome to all
our guests.
Culinary Delights
Our commitment to sharing our culture extended to our kitchens, with delicious Bengali
delicacies served daily for lunch and dinner, along with delightful afternoon snacks.
Durga Mandap
Our mandap decoration was also stunning. A special attempt to transfuse tradition with
modernity evident from addition of selfie zone decoration which focused on an
amalgamation of Bengali hasta shilpa and Bengali Sishu Sahitya.
It is the collective effort, passion, and dedication of our members that transformed the Puja
into a grand and successful event. Your commitment to our values of unity, diversity, and
inclusiveness made this year's celebration truly memorable.
As we bid farewell to Maa Durga, let us carry the spirit of togetherness and harmony with us
throughout the year.
Happy Bijoya Dashami!
Yours sincerely,
Pradip Putatunda
